All-round Design Support Amsterdam

Our client, an international fashion company with their HQ in Amsterdam is looking for an All-round Design Support for the upcoming 6 months. Do you have a solid understanding of jeans brands and their customers as well as have a youthful and current design handwriting? Apply right away as the deadline is Wednesday, November 18th at 12:00.
In this role you will be dividing your time supporting 2 teams.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Trend / competitor research based on the seasonal concept;
• Creating sourcing briefs for vendors and buying offices;
• Sketching styles or placing graphics in Illustrator as well as creating full garment work sheets (GWS);
• Uploading sketches and style info into the Digital Foamboard (DF);
• Uploading garment work sheets and creating BOMs in PLM (admin);
• Updating the DF / GWS / PLM after reviews and fittings when necessary.

Must have:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a similiar supportive role;
• Passionate & knowledgeable about fashion (especially jeans) and their customers;
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written & verbal;
• Demonstrated energy, drive, determination and persistence;
• A hands-on attitude;
• Strong eye for detail and a natural sense of design / styling;
• Open minded with a global design mindset;
• Organizational skills;
• Independent, quick thinker & solutions' driven;
• Able to work within a large international company and a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of 3D software:
• Or someone who has an interest in learning 3D software in order to support both teams with some of the more basic 3D updates such as colour and graphic changes;
• An aptitude for graphics would be a bonus!
