We are looking for an interim Anaplan Model Builder for the European Headquarters of an International Bank, location Amsterdam. This assignment wil be at least for 6 months.

The function is part of the Global HR Regulation, Governance and Analytics team, which is a small agile global team. In this role you will work with Finance, Planning and the HR functions globally in order to build, maintain and update models on the Anaplan connected planning platform.

You are the main Anaplan model builder and you will oversee general Anaplan support. The role will focus on leading on the existing Anaplan model with updates, changes and improvements. The existing Anaplan model is a headcount and personnel expense workforce planning model. A compensation planning model is currently under development.
The role will also support the scoping, development and roll-out of new Anaplan models as the platform continues to expand through the workforce planning and forecasting processes.
The Anaplan system is being built out at this time, so this role will be key in the establishing the global processes and build for the system.

  • Support and improve the existing Anaplan model for workforce planning
  • Build robust reporting and dashboards within the current Anaplan model, using new user interface
  • Monitor Anaplan model efficiency and put forward recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Lead future model builds within Anaplan as use cases are identified, scoped, prioritised and developed
  • Central point of contact for Anaplan support
  • Responsible for maintaining and driving improvements to the core Anaplan model which acts to connect the plans across the business
  • Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings to meet business needs
  • Transform and implement multi-dimensional structures to support business processes
  • Ensure the core Anaplan model is well maintained, follows best practice modelling and supports the needs of key users
  • Ensure comprehensive UAT (User acceptance testing) is completed ahead of major new releases

hourly rate will depend on your background but will be between 85-95 including commuting costs, excluding VAT.

Functie eisen

* Education: University Degree and/or equivalent experience;;
* 2+ years of workforce planning experience with Anaplan and experience with Anaplan model building;
* Expert experience creating reports in Excel and working with large data sets;
* Ability to translate from model-building in Excel to multi-dimensional technologies;
* Work in an agile and culturally aware manner, managing stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions;
* Verbal and written communication skills in English is required;
* Strong written communication, presentation development and data analysis;
* Strong visualization skills and able to clearly and concisely present analytical findings with recommendations;
