As an Application Engineer (Senior) you will be a part of team Digital Technology based in Prague City Centre. You will be transforming a traditional bank into a digital agile enterprise! You will provide a wide range of various IT solutions, .Net and Java development, services in the area of application operation and infrastructure.

2nd level support (of internal banking applications) running on MS Windows servers
Request, Incident, Change and Problem management,
Application monitoring
Analysis and troubleshooting
Participating in public holiday support when required

We prefer candidates with:Experience in an application support role (ideally in a Banking environment)
Good communication skills in English
Good knowledge of SQL or Oracle querying skills
Good Knowledge of MS Windows Server Systems & AD environment, MS IIS
Good Knowledge in PowerShell scripting
Independent, stress resistant, responsible attitude
UNIX Shell knowledge focused on file manipulation and editing
Vim, grep, chmod, ssh and diff is a must
Database essentials, object and principle understanding
Understanding transactions
Application server operations (Tomcat) knowledge
Focused on java application deployment (war)
Server operations and log understanding
Basic server and service configurations
Understanding IT technologies
Computer network essentials TCP/IP, Client – Server architecture
HTTP, HTTPS, proxy and certificates
XML, JSON, CSV data formats is a must
