Functieomschrijving
The mission of Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) is to develop specialized logistics services for a wide range of customer needs and to implement them as needed.
As a full-service provider SCS manages the logistics processes and reacts individually to customer requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Search for and acquire new customers for in Benelux and Germany as well as search for and acquire new business for on-site logistics activities as offered by our business line Supply Chains solutions
• Develop long term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements;
• Negotiate tender- and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs and demands;
• Calculate client quotations and administrate client accounts using the company system (Microsoft CRM);
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education as well as after sales service;
• Analyze costs and sales;
• Prepare periodic sales and visit reports;
• Transfer information and documentation to both central management as well as operational sites in Europe;
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
Functie-eisen
• Bachelor degree in a business discipline and/or experience on Bachelor level;
• At least 5 years of solid sales experience and knowledge in the transport and/or chemical industry;
• Ability to work within a commercial and/or sales environment;
• Ability to work autonomously within a team dynamic environment;
• To work with integrity and professionalism at all times;
• Strong sales presence and excellent customer facing skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent analytical abilities and problem solving skills;
• Competencies: change management, persuasiveness, negotiation, innovations and problem solving;
• Drive and determination, result oriented hands on approach and the ability to work ;independently initiative, self-motivation and discipline;
• Sound judgment and good business sense;
• Ability to build up a strong relation quickly and efficiently;
• Willing to travel on a regular basis;
• Fluent in Dutch and English, German is preferred.
