There is no fixed mould for your daily tasks. Instead, there is enough to be discovered and learned when it comes to app development.
Waar je aan werkt- Design and development of backend/frontend solutions
- Communication with other teams and departments
- Communication with 3rd party vendors
- Help team to make good architectural decisions
- Communicate technical things to non-technical people
- Maintain develop our Java applications
- Maintain our API Gateway proxies (we use Apigee)
- Communicate and create requirements for 3rd party API vendors.
- You have some exposure to Java/Springboot + databases
- Some experience with AWS or other cloud environment is nice to have
- You have experience with REST API design and development
- You have strong communication skills
- You know specifics of developing backend services for mobile apps
- Some experience with native mobile frontend development is nice to have
- You are a strong team player and together with your colleagues, you manage to take the team to a higher level
- You have professional and intellectual abilities at the BSc level
- You are enthusiastic, proactive and you want to change the world!
- You are a resident of the European Union and can work within the EU
You will be working at the App Center, which is part of the IT Kanalen department. We have started the in-house development of our apps in 2017, which means the App Center is the youngest department of ANWB IT. Around 25 professionals work on leading apps for major user groups. You will be working in a multidisciplinary scrum team at our head office in The Hague.
