Due to our expanding production and business locations. Kingfish Zeeland is looking for a BIM 360 Coordinator to support the further development of our locations in the Netherlands and USA.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced BIM Coordinator to be on the forefront of BIM technology. Use your BIM talents to assist our design teams in creating structures on our new and existing locations. Gain broad experience through the entire project lifecycle from pre-design through construction

 Job description:

As BIM Coordinator at KingFish you will utilize BIM to enhance our new projects at every stage including architectural, interiors, structural and MEP building engineering. You are responsible to execute BIM strategies and provide solutions with the construction team on our projects while using your skill sets in Building Information Modelling and Construction. You will lead various phases of coordination, development, analytical designs, report preparation, specifications, and preparation of construction documentation and environmental plans as part of a project team. 

Furthermore:

• 3D modelling in Revit & Inventor
• BIM 360 platform
• Folder structure & coordination’s
• Setup and assign rights to new designer
• Building of templates
• Structure of review processes
• Coordination of clash detection
• Provide weekly update tracking
• Validation of level of detail (LOD)
• Provide As-built updates

 Supporting Activities:

• Internal design group with 3D modelling and 2D drawings
• Commercial requirements e.g. development of video etc.
• Permitting process with relevant information
• Internal project related document handling

For this position, we are looking for a real pioneer with:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Drafting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years Inventor/Revit experience
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• communicative skills, sound organizational consciousness and good planning capabilities
• Good knowledge of MS office software applications
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and written
• A technical background
  
  

 Preferred Skills and Education

• Experience using Revit BIM solution
• Proficient in Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM 360
• Understanding of construction and Revit MEP design
• StructSoft or other Revit structural add on experience a plus
