As a Sr Data Architect/DBA you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the databases & data needs required to efficiently run our microservices driven platform. Your day to day tasks include, but are not limited to data modeling, data ingestion, DB administration, performance tuning and building data visualizations to help operationalize and scale the platform to support our demanding customer needs.
- Build and maintain databases to efficiently ship the core services product/platform from development to production.
- Review database designs and architecture on a day-to-day basis to ensure our monitoring, operations and performance needs are met.
- Build monitoring capabilities for a highly distributed environment that allows to quickly identify problems.
- Develop custom tools and strategies that are required in managing databases to support a highly scalable microservices environment.
- Hands on technical deep dive's on incident calls, providing quick resolutions to issues that impact our customer experience and business.
- Maintain latest security and policy patches for multiple non managed db cloud instances.
- Build and maintain databases to efficiently ship the core services product/platform from development to production.
