As a DevOps engineer you’ll mostly be involved in making sure our Enterprise SAAS solution runs smoothly: infrastructure architecture (e.g. high availability), automated deployment, monitoring & logging, performance.

You’ll be supported by a growing & agile development team (10 devs) to achieve this.

There are no levels of hierarchy within Skedify development team and we go to great lengths to make team collaboration as pleasant and effective as possible.

You like to optimize the automated Application Lifecycle Management processes (build, test, deploy, monitor) for our web solution which has the following tech stack: PHP (Laravel), React/Preact, MySQL, Elasticsearch and Node.js. Knowledge of any of these technologies is a big plus, as is experience with deploying them.

You will also help to keep data safe and secure, follow up on and implement the latest security standards and improve security awareness within the company.

Demonstrable experience

• Configuration management and automation tools
• With most of the following technologies: Ansible, Python, Azure, Linux
• Infrastructure performance (e.g. New Relic)
• Logging solutions (e.g. ELK), …
• Not afraid to use command line tools
• Good insights into software architecture

Skills to delight us with:

• Experience with Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins, Travis, Teamcity, GitLab, …) and provisioning tools
• Software engineering background or relevant experience
• Knowledge of managing a relational database
• You're familiar with Git
