The Project Management Director will have the overall responsibility for the execution and management of the projects in Systems. He should develop and implement the REC Systems project model so that the project approval processes and the project management procedures ensure successful project execution.

The Project Management Director will have the overall responsibility for the execution and management of the projects in Systems. He should develop and implement the REC Systems project model so that the project approval processes and the project management procedures ensure successful project execution.
- Take responsibility for the execution and management of the projects built by REC Systems and ensure that projects are completed according to scope, on time, at costs and without HSE issues.
- Further develop the REC Systems project model (decision gates) to incorporate best practices from REC Projects, while at the same time being adapted to the specifics of the REC Systems business.
- Develop and disseminate REC Systems quality standards in terms of project execution around key project objectives of safety, scope, cost and schedule.
- Establish REC Systems’ project management procedures including project management team set-up, reporting lines, meeting schedules, reporting requirements, etc.
- Build strong project management capabilities in the REC Systems team. Provide leadership in terms of project management procedures and motivate the other project managers to work according to same high professional standards.
- Develop and implement project reporting standards for REC Systems and align this with the overall reporting cycles for REC Systems, Solar and the Group. This includes contents of reporting on different level and frequency of reporting. Reporting must monitor cost and schedule trends and identify with corrective actions. Trends should be reported to management as appropriate.
- Work closely with project managers and participate actively in projects to provide “on-the-job” training and ensure that procedures are being used.
- Work with external partners to motivate these to apply at a minimum REC’s standards for projects with shared or outsourced responsibility for project execution.
- Hold / participate in project “close out” sessions to ensure that learnings related to project management are captured and implemented in REC Systems’ procedures.
- Degree in Engineering
- Proven track record in management of projects preferably in relation to renewable energy projects
- Experience in working within an international environment and team
