We are a multinational, enthusiastic and fun team based in the heart of Berlin with a unified vision of changing the game in the furniture industry. And we are looking for an inspiring, engaged and motivated new Editor (EN).
As an Editor, you will:
- Work as part of an international team of copywriters and editors to produce consistent and strong creative copy
- Write clear, concise and grammatically correct copy; translate copy from other languages to English with special consideration for stylistic and cultural differences
- Effectively and efficiently edit the copy of other teammates in the language group, with an eye towards creative style and grammatical precision
- Research brand and product attributes and morph them into compelling copy for our design-savvy customers
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure all product details are communicated
- Communicate with various teams on Special Projects and create or translate occasional texts, blog posts, etc.
- Produce daily social media copy as needed
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Have a degree in journalism, creative writing or a related field AND at least 1 year of experience writing editorial copy or marketing copy
- Be a native English speaker (UK/US), have a strong command of German
- Have a love of the written word
- Love design and have an interest in working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize under the right deadlines
- Work well in a team environment
- Take direction, learn new skills, and continually evolve as a writer
- Be able to self-motivate and have the initiative to seek areas of improvement ‚outside the box‘
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
