Job Mission
Within ASML the Customer Support (CS) group is responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations. One of the departments in this group is CS NXE Upgrades/Install. This organization prepares and executes complex upgrades such as commercial upgrades and field swaps and “bring to spec packages”.
“Manage and keep track on complex field upgrades and activities, enabling the field teams to unlock the potential of ASML products for our customers”. 

Job Description
As a shift leader you lead the in fab engineering team and drive . In all situations your first priority is to be an ambassador for safety and local way of working adherence.
-Key person to pass downs for the shifts. Take responsibility to be familiarized with and follow the escalation processes in and outside the cleanroom.
-Takes responsibility to be familiar with the experience level of the engineers on shift and establish strong communication with the engineers being lead.
-Takes ownership to prepare a safety briefing that sets expectations and creates awareness before the start of a multi-day shift with the team.
-Ensures the shift adheres to the agreed local ways of working presented in the project kick off.
-Takes the responsibility to have professional and clear communication towards the office as well as towards the team of engineers.
-Responsible to lead and drive the team during the execution of the daily plan by setting expectations and dividing the work package during the shift.
-Takes responsibility to ensure that the training expectations for employees on shift are met.
-Be the first point of contact (regarding escalations) for the office as well as for the (local) engineers.
-Notes all required administration/actions in the logbook, and takes ownership to review the logbook of previous shift to get the correct status information before starting work.
-Strive for a clear overview of what kind of activities are planned in parallel and may interfere with the planned work.
-Takes ownership to provide a heightened level of feedback and lessons learned based on experience during the project. 

Education
BSc technical degree like Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, (Applied) Physics or comparable, or equivalent experience. 

Experience
-Experience in a challenging environment with high tech products and complex production processes as engineer, preferably with trouble-shooting: analyzing problem, finding root cause and solution.
-At least 2 or more years work experience as engineer. 

Personal skills
-Open for cultural differences.
-Pragmatic attitude, motivated, pro-active, self-driven and flexible.
-High sense of responsibility and devotion.
-Highly stress-resistant.
-Broad technical and business knowledge.
