As a senior Front-end Software Developer you’ll be working on software projects for our clients. You’ll team up with 10 senior Full Stack Java Developers who have knowledge of front-end, but prefer a specialist to dot the i’s and cross the t’s. Next to your own projects you’ll be managing our developers as far as front-end is concerned, and occasionally present an in-house masterclass. You have modern tools at your disposal and will be supported by our quality street (buildstraat).

In order to realize new ambitions and ideas for MetaFactory and her clients, we need critical and proactive senior Front-end Developers. We’re fully aware it’s important for developers to be up-to-date when it comes to the latest developments, new tools and new frameworks. We can offer you time to educate yourself.

Developer Kim: “It’s not just about transforming a design into a functioning screen. We can do that ourselves. Front-end however isn’t our core activity and we’re moving towards a situation that calls for a separate task for a senior Front-end Developer who can excel using his or her expertise.”

Your working day

Early birds can come to our office from around 7 o’clock. Each day starts between 09:00 and 11:00 with a stand-up. After that, you’ll pick up working on the story of your current sprint. Feel free to consult your colleagues at any time. We have lunch together around noon. We maintain a schedule of periodical demo’s and retro’s that usually take place in the afternoon. Your working day ends between 16:00 and 20:00 hours, depending on the project you’re working on, your meetings and travel preferences.

What you have to offer

• Excellent programming skills.
• Know-how of technology we use for front-end, such as Angular (JS t/m 9), SASS, CSS, SESS, GIT and Jira.
• Knowledge of Typescript.
• Knowledge of java (Spring and JEE) are assets.
• Experience with Scrum and Agile.
• Independent worker and real team player.
• Fluent in Dutch or English, in word and writing.
