As the Head of Pricing, you will:
- Identify and utilize expertise in the field of pricing within our sector, based on new and/or existing best practices in local markets;
- Challenge local pricing leaders and experts to focus on similarities instead of differences;
- Jointly develop and introduce a consistent pricing structures;
- Continuously improve the overall quality level of our pricing solutions;
- Asses all processes on efficiency and effectiveness and optimize the co-operation on activities between teams;
- Improve predictability and consistency of pricing, which should ultimately lead to an increase in profitable revenue and margin growth;
- Be in charge of the governance improvement plan for pricing process.
- Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics or similar
- Minimum of five years performance regarding pricing systems and / or data analysis
- Minimum of seven years of business experience in one or more of the following: Pricing Management, Revenue Management, Strategy, Commercial Management, or Trading and Business Development (wholesale and B2B advantageous)
- Thorough understanding of the building materials trade/market is advantageous
- Fluent in English and German is a must, preferably one other European language like Dutch or French.
- Communicate goals and strategies effectively across multiple levels of leadership within the organization
- Analytical problem solving: identify problems; apply structured and disciplined methodology to identify root cause using data
- Ability to coach, engage and inspire people
