De vacatureThe Group M&A Analyst is reporting to the Group VP Strategy & Development. The department is called Strategy & Development, but this is synonym for Mergers & Acquisitions. The role focuses on the analytical part (e.g. market analysis, financial analysis, business case) and the process and project management side of M&A as well as within the Format, Footprint and RE (FF&RE) pillar. This level requires an academic (master’s) degree with at least three to four years of experience in a relevant area. The job interacts independently with a variety of (mostly internal) stakeholders and is guided by senior S&D managers. The Strategy & Development team is based in Schiphol-Oost and principal tasks include: a) Supporting the strategy and growth agenda of BME b) Identifying organic and non-organic growth opportunities c) Originating and executing of M&A deals d) Supporting of integration activities (100-day plan) e) Developing and implementing new Formats and optimising the Footprint including the management of the owned and leased Real Estate portfolio.Functie eisen

• Strong academic background: Masters in a numerical discipline (Business, Finance, Econometrics, Engineering, etc.)
• Three to four years of work experience, preferably in an international matrix environment; Investment banking, Corporate Finance & Strategy experience is a plus
• Extensive experience with Excel and presentation tools (how to build a story)
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills in English and preferably German (Dutch and French)
• General knowledge of the construction industry is plus, but not a requirement
