The interaction design and user experience challenges will span software and hardware interaction methods, interface design, form factors, setup and out-of-box experience, and require a deep understanding of both user experience drivers and operating system and app environments.

The Product Management and Design team is looking for an experienced Interaction Designer with:
a passion for defining, designing, prototyping and evaluating interactions, interfaces and user experiences
the ability to clearly communicate and champion interaction design to drive the creation of principled, crafted and delightful products
the agility to balance research insights, user experience focus, design thinking, technical awareness and business sensibility working in a fast moving environment
As an Interaction Designer you'll be part of the Product Management and Design team, You will report to the VP Design, work closely with Industrial Design, Marketing and Engineering and be a key contributor driving the definition of interaction design and user experience for the entire range of products for consumer computing platforms.

Qualifications
- Expertise in interaction design methods with strong analytical ability, especially with regard to synthesis of qualitative research and market insights to define the interaction experience
- Experience developing creative approaches to exploring, solving and validating complex interaction design problems, especially within a rapid and iterative product design and development context
- Experience working directly with software engineering and testing teams within an agile software development process on software, web and mobile applications
- Strong written, oral and visual communication skills, with demonstrable ability to document, prototype and communicate interaction design insights and requirements in an impactful way
- Demonstrable history of the practical application of design thinking and methods to impact and influence the interaction design of products, the understanding and decision making of team members, and the process of user experience
Qualifications
- A degree or advanced degree in software engineering, interaction design, industrial design or a related interaction design / user experience field
- At least 10 years of experience researching, designing and prototyping the interaction design and user experience for software and products
