IT Business Analyst for Master Data Management (MDM) (f/m)

The department Cross-Functional Services runs IT projects and develops IT solutions for both internal and external clients. The team "Common Services” is responsible for managing requirements, architectures, implementations and operations of IT services that are used world wide. To support this team we are looking for an IT Business Analyst for Master Data Management (MDM) (f/m) who will be located in Essen, Germany.
Your tasks
- Collect and analyze information from business stakeholders in regard to specific MDM requirements
- Evaluate requirements in the context of the overall solution and in regard to legal or business process needs
- Create detailed documentation of the requirement and align with business representative
- Identify interface needs of applications to be integrated.
- Ensure overall harmonization of requirements from an IT point-of-view with the MDM service and scope and goals.
- Support testing and trainings
Your profile
Our ideal candidate (m/f) has a good understanding of the business processes in forwarding business and IT integrations. The successful candidate (m/f) will also display the following strengths:
- A pragmatic, logical and structured approach
- Able to translate complex processes to functional requirements
- Fluent in business English, both written and verbal
- Working in international teams with internal and external members
- Good communication skills
- Experience with the most common MS Office products, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Following strengths will be an advantage:
- Requirement engineering skills (e.g. DOORS)
- Experience with data exchange over XML
