Modis IT are recruiting for IT Support Engineer who is confident in communicating in Chinese and English. Work location is in Amsterdam.
IT Support Engineer will provide solid technical and user assistance such as computer systems, network and video conference troubleshooting to our employees. Meanwhile, this role will also be responsible for some on-boarding and off-boarding technical support and the new office network layout and programming. Tasks to be performed
• Provide first point of contact for customer-facing support on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, applications, printers, networking, remote access, Email and telephony
• Provide helpdesk support & troubleshooting and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
• Be responsible for onboarding of new users in Europe office. Manage PC/MAC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
• Take charge of network troubleshooting and network configurations for employees
• Manage the new office network layout /programming and construction
• Work with business department to coordinate important information around system maintenance, changes and IT requirements from business

• Bachelor's Degree in Business (Management Information Systems), Computer Science, Business (Other) or CompTIA A+ Technician certification
• 3+ years of professional experience servicing and supporting medium business networks and/or products in a Tier 2 support role
• 2+ years' experience with Mac (IOS systems)
• 3+ years' experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft operating systems, wide variety of applications, and networking technologies
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, experience of supporting C Level Executives
• Ability to provide high level support of all IT networking and communications hardware for the entire office
Languages required:
• Chinese
• English
