Job description
You support several teams and experimental physicists with solutions to electrical issues. You design, implement and test these solutions. The job combines challenging aspects like vacuum, shielding, high voltage, high frequency and mechanical stability.
- You will think along with the teams and provide smart and practical solutions for electrical problems they encounter.
- You translate functional system and interface requirements to technical solutions.
- You develop designs and roadmaps for future generations of the equipment.
- You will represent the electrical expertise within multi-disciplinary teams consisting of physicists, mechanical and software engineer.
Your profile
- You have a HTS/B.Eng. or WO/B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Starters or experienced e.g. as part of a design team that has successfully delivered solutions.
- Good understanding of shielding, cables/wiring and reliability of parts/equipment.
- Knowledge of High-Frequency/High voltage analogue electronics and signal transfer is required.
- Preferably experience in working with vacuum equipment in industrial environments.
- You are a team player with good communication skills.
