Within GEA RT IS (‘s-Hertogenbosch) there is a vacancy for a Refrigeration Design Engineer.
The Position
- Preparations, study, interpret and discuss the assignment on functionality and the technical and financial feasibility.
- The preparation of P&ID, equipment specifications, instructions, parts lists, etc.
- Ordering of equipment at suppliers.
- Check of 3D-CAD and supplier drawings.
- Calculation of main equipment, piping, line components, etc.
- Providing support to supervisors at the commissioning.
- Troubleshooting.
- Coordination and contacts with suppliers.
- Providing technical support of outside agencies.
- Reporting and presenting results and progress.
- Follow internal and external developments in the field.
- Dependent on the complexity of the project, your innovative, creative, decisive, organizational and adaptable skills will be required.
- You will report to the Director Project Execution & Service.
Your profile
- Bachelor degree (or nearly graduated) in (Mechanical) Engineering.
- A starter in the labor market who is enthusiastic and motivated to get started from a growth perspective.
- Knowledge of construction drawings and (refrigeration) technical diagrams.
- Customer driven and a team player.
- Good English language skills are required; one or more other languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel on an regular base.
