Since 2008, MegaZebra has crafted category-leading games and created new game classics. By combining art and analytics, bringing together passionate people from around the globe, and adding our secret sauce, we have been able to constantly produce hit games.
We develop all our games in small and very vibrant teams. Each team has a high degree of responsibility for their game and is committed to creating something outstanding. We are now looking for an experienced Lead Game Designer to develop our next mobile puzzle games for millions of players worldwide.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll be primarily responsible for developing concepts for our next puzzle games
- You'll be leading the whole process from the first idea to post-launch optimization
Your profile
- You have several years of experience in shaping and steering the development of puzzle-style casual/arcade games
- You were involved in at least one successful game in a high-ranking position
- You have gained hands-on leadership experience in the gaming industry, preferably working with small but agile teams
- You are familiar with the social game mechanics of Facebook, frequently play Facebook-Games yourself and get tons of new ideas while playing
- You have preferably gained in-depth knowledge of releasing games on mobile devices, too
- Your are familiar with the current games market and consumer expectations
- You demonstrate the right mix between creativity and technical aptitude
- You have an eye for detail and are able to emphasise with the user
- You know and use scripting languages
- You are comfortable with having a variety of personalities and nationalities in your team
- You are open-minded, flexible and self-motivated
- You have excellent English language skills (German is a plus but not necessary)
