Via Olympia you will work in the Home Shopcenter of Albert Heijn in Amsterdam Westpoort.
With a team full of energetic colleagues from all around the world, we work hard. However, breaks are also important to us! There is a good canteen in the building where you can enjoy a well-deserved break. We provide you a dinner if you are working in the evening!
Who doesn’t love shopping all day long? Do you like doing grocery shopping as well? And would you like to work for the fastest growing online supermarket? If so, we would love to meet you!
In different shifts we make sure that all groceries are collected and ready for the delivery for all the online orders.
You are very important in this process. Together with your 'new best friend': the scanner, you will scan all items and collect them for delivery. This can be done in different departments and at different times. In this way we provide routine but also variety. For example, one day you'll scan all dry goods in the early morning and the next day you'll be in the cooled area with all the fresh products in the evening.
Of course you will receive all the tips and tricks from our experienced colleagues during your first training days
If you are motivated to work we will train you to be the best orderpicker. You do not have to have any experience. However it is important that you like to be busy all day and walking much is not a problem for you!
If you are interested, respond quickly! First an interview follows (by phone) and after that you will get a guided tour at the distribution center. If everything goes according to plan, you can start very soon!

If you are motivated to work we will train you to be the best orderpicker. You do not have to have any experience. However it is important that you like to be busy all day and walking much is not a problem for you!
- You have no problem working in different shifts (06:00-14:30, 14:30-23:00 or 23:00-07:00).
- You have your own scooter or car. (You need this, because you are going to work at different times and the location is not easy accessible by public transport. Cycling is also possible, if you live a maximum of 30 minutes away).
- You like have a physically work (we walk 16 KM per shift!) and you want to exceed the number of orders every day.
- You can join our team on a full-time base (sometimes even willing to work 6 days a week).
- You are not afraid of the cold and therefore are willing to work in a cooled environment of only 3 to 4 degrees.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- Olympia offers you a flexible contract for AH Online for 64 hours per 4 weeks.
- You will receive a starting salary of €12.27 per hour and we will increase this salary even to €13.13 after 13 weeks of work! (at 22 years and older incl ADV)
- 150% surcharge on your hours worked after 22.00 and 200% on Sundays!
- You build up holidays and 8% holiday pay.
- We offer a variety of courses and development opportunities, for example to become a trainer or team leader.
