MARINE CARGO CLAIMS HANDLING

 

  • Receive claim notices from the claim settling agents of TMNF or TM HCC when the claim exceeds their payment authority and handle such according to agreed procedures
  • Check the developments of claim periodically with the claim settling agent or the surveyor in order to settle it as early as possible
  • Provide claims information to underwriters to assist and improve underwriting decisions of TMNF and TM HCC.

    • LOSS PREVENTION SERVICES

  • Analyse loss data, and provide loss analysis & loss prevention measures to the clients for loss prevention meetings etc
  • Arrange and/or attend tracing surveys and make a reports of the surve

    • Attend periodical meetings with the clients, surveyors, inland carriers etc. for loss prevention and  recovery from responsible parties.

    OBSERVE TRENDS & DEVELOPMENTS

  • Enhance market intelligence and transfer useful information to TMNF and TM HCC.
  • Participate in surveys, project or work groups at request, which deal with future developments which are of interest for TMCSE or TM in general.
