Olam Cocoa Operations Graduate Programme 

From day one you will be hired in an operations role that will give you on-the-job work experience and responsibility. In addition, you will be part of the Operations Graduate Programme. The programme provides recent graduates with the essential skills and experience to kick-start their career. After extensive onboarding at our cocoa flagship locations in The Netherlands, you will work in various locations in and outside Europe, while also focusing on project & process assignments. 


Your Programme Roadmap:

· 3-month onboarding at Koog aan de Zaan & Wormer, The Netherlands

· 3 x 6 months job / assignment rotation at Koog aan de Zaan, Wormer & Mannheim

· 3-month international assignment (e.g. Côte d’Ivoire, Brazil or Indonesia)

· During these 24 months you will achieve peak performance with the help of our graduate support system and digitalized personal development plan.

Who are you? 

· You are currently a post-graduate; operations, (chemical) engineering or food technologist student from a leading university with 0-2 years’ experience working in operations.

· You are very flexible and willing to undertake assignments at locations in and outside Europe.

· You have the attributes to lead and manage complexity and persevere to achieve outcomes.

· You have a high cognitive ability and entrepreneurial drive.

· Your pro-active approach to projects and problem solving will ensure your success in delivering the most complex tasks that lie ahead.

Our core purpose is to ‘re-imagine global agriculture and food systems’. In order to achieve that we are inviting operations graduates to join us in our efforts to create a quality-focused cocoa supply chain and make the future of cocoa more sustainable.

· Responsibility and ownership within Olam Cocoa Operations;

You will be given exposure to Olam Cocoa’s operations in and outside of Europe through a combination of on-the-job work experience and ownership of project & process assignments.

· High-impact operations career & other benefits;

After our program you will be equipped for a high-impact operations careers at Olam Cocoa. Currently held jobs by former graduates include; Plant Manager, Production Engineer, Project Leader and European Quality Manager. Furthermore, during the programme you will receive a market-conform salary (including 13th month and other secondary benefits).
