Description: SUSE is building a strategic EMEA Digital sales HUB next to the central station of Hoofddorp. 

This is a unique opportunity to join the biggest independent open source company on our exciting journey to dynamic growth!  

 

Location: SUSE office in Hoofddorp, NL (office based, dependant on current pandemics situation).  

Set-up: 12 months fixed term contract, with a long term outlook 

 

Objective of the role 

We are seeking an exceptional individual to serve as a Pre-Sales Engineer in our Digital Sales Hub. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical and subject matter expertise in SUSE Technology, the supporting Eco System and will become a trusted partner adviser and advocate for SUSE. You will be part of a sales organization, but will remain, at the core, a technical expert who actively participates in the sales process. The ultimate goal of the Pre-Sales Engineer is to position the correct solution based on customer requirements and getting the technical win.

Work with sales representative to establish specific account plans and strategies aligned with the Go-To-MarketAnalyse sales prospects, requirements and propose the best possible SUSE SolutionCreate and deliver demonstrations, presentations, POV and map features/benefits of SUSE’s products to prospects’ specific needs Respond to the technical sections of RFI/RFPsProvide product and solution feedback from customersCommunicate competitive intelligence from the fieldExchange best practices and share knowledge within Pre-Sales Community utilizing supplied mechanisms available in SUSEKeep up to date with any new SUSE solutions and relevant technical knowledgeParticipate in meetings and conferences with customers and partners, sales and other necessary departments

 

About You 

Highly motivated and success oriented, driven for results A fast learner. We do not expect you to be an expert on day one as our dedicated training team will up-skill you quickly.Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.Fluency in English is a must, Additional language skills are a benefitPrevious experience with presales, consultancy, technical support in technology space Technical background, IT / computer focus. Tec savvy personCollege degree or a diploma is preferred, but not essential Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word literate Analytical skills, project management skillsBusiness understanding, ability to understand customer’s needs, challenges and expectationsWillingness to travel (very occasional) and flexibility in working hours required (as per business needs) Works office-based in a team.  (Current Work-from-home directed by COVID measures)  Offer: What we offer
