We are looking for a Product Developer Kidswear for an international jeans label based in Amsterdam.

The product developer is there to lead the development process from sketch (created by design) until final product for the kids collection. The product is placed, produced and received based on the standards and goals established by the division. You will be reporting into the Senior Manager Sourcing & Development.
* Advises Design/ Merchandise regarding technical possibilities and limitations
* Works closely with the offshore teams, vendors to control the status and changes to the styles, follows up on deadlines for proto samples, lab-dips, sales samples, PA samples and pricing/ margin targets
* Responsible for tracking all proto and fit samples for each season of the collection as well as pro-active planning
* Comments samples on details, measurements, fit and workmanship. Communicates all changes on styles to the buying offices or vendors
* Ensures that all the systems are updated and matching as per internal information (PLM, LL Database, etc.)
Tools in order to full-fill the above:
* Centric PLM: the main system to generate all the material/style/product and production information.
* Communication with: Offshore team, design and merchandising.

Functie eisen
* Education: higher textile education (AMFI, De Maere, TMO, MTS Mode & Kleding or similar)* Minimum 1-3 years working experience in development/sourcing/production of the targeted product group
* Used to working under pressure with deadlines
* Excellent communication and team player
* Strong knowledge of Excel and PLM systems
* Solid knowledge of garment specifications and fabrics
* Fluent in English
