DB Schenker is looking for an experienced project Forwarder. Responsibilities As Project Forwarder for our Global Projects & Industry Solutions Team Benelux ( GPIS) Industrial Projects (IP) team you are responsible for the coordination of shipments according to the specifications of the customer and guidelines of DB Schenker. The department is specialized in shipments that contain from Out of Gauge containerized transport, Turn- key shipments to large break-bulk shipments. Your role within this department will include:- To take care of shipment files from A-Z (incl. preparing the best possible transport solution for our customers, handling of the shipment and invoicing etc.).
- Being the contact person for the customer and ensure that at all times the customer is informed, and your team is up to date.
- Being responsible for the complete administration in our operational systems.
- As key account manager for some customers, frequent evaluation meetings with the customer and physical attendance will be required when a shipment is handled in the port or at the customers premises.
