Our client is a world leader in IT products. The servers are built in Den Bosch, where they have their own production department.


In addition to a nice salary, you will be reimbursed for your travel expenses. When the client is satisfied with you, it is possible to get a permanent contract after 8 months. We are looking for a dedicated Quality engineer to independently manage the Production department in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor, review and control of manufacturing processes of Netherlands production.
  • Collect necessary process yields on product, both of NPI and of production during their respective transformations.
  • Compile data to generate DFM feedback report to our design team and assist product design improvement.
  • Assist root cause and failure analysis to generate quality improvement initiatives on their CM processes.
  • Work with purchasing and related departments to solve the materials quality issues, or support part qualification confirmation through the CM process.
  • Provide feedback and drive supplier quality management and improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering for component quality control or special testing, inspection, or experiments.
  • Coordinate with production team to improve incoming yields.
  • Lead necessary supplier audit at the CM and the raw material suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years or more of relevant hands-on experience in electronic and computer products, and quality management systems in the computer industry. 
  • Working knowledge and prior experience in system integration business.
  • Prior experience in supplier quality control and management.
  • Have excellent communication and analytical skills in problem solving. MS Excel spreadsheet functioning knowledge and skills will be a strong plus.


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

 

• Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms

 • Lift, carry, push and pull in excess of 12 Kgs

 • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and balance
