The position is in the Business Unit Functional Minerals and here the Business Group Purification provides mineral solutions to several industries, focusing on the treatment of edible oil, as well as to all industries active in the market of purifying liquids.
For our Business Unit Functional Minerals based in Munich, Germany, we are seeking a Regional Sales Manger – Europe, Business Group Purification EMEA
Position duties:
- Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule
- Establish and manage sales (pricing / product / volume) strategy to obtain market satisfaction as well as attracting new clients within the responsible territory
- Plan annual sales budget and forecasting based on the above
- Provide detailed market updates and analyses for unmet needs at point of sale
- Monitor, benchmark and update activities of competition
- Coordinate cross-departmental sales projects to implement
- Managing sales and market activities with minimum supervision by using provided tools
Requirements:
- Relevant marketing, engineering, science or chemistry diploma / degree or higher, combined with detailed commercial knowledge
- Minimun of five years demonstrable and relevant experience in sales within related markets or fields
- Excellent communication skills on all levels (as well as overall computer skills)
- Detailed market knowledge in the edible oil industry or related industries
- Language proficiency in German and English
- Strategic and analytic skills combined with excellent self-management
- Travel frequently, both locally and internationally
- Challenging responsibilities and room for creativity
