The Rotating Equipment Engineer will play a key role in defining, maintaining and improving the safety and availability of rotating equipment systems through selection, maintenance and operation of equipment.
Key responsibilities include: ·
- Provide a site focal point for Rotating machinery
- Lead the small onsite rotating equipment team.
- Provide technical assistance as required both internally and externally.
- Liaising with both onsite and offsite personnel, to ensure the standard of overhaul of rotating equipment.
- Provide a source of troubleshooting expertise
- Ensuring that the condition monitoring site schedules are effective
Skills Required:
The successful candidate will have
- A proven track record and strong experience working with rotating equipment.
- Familiarity with most types of rotating equipment.
- Experience within a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Experienced in condition monitoring, and interpretation of results
- Able to work on own initiative and without supervision
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
