Job Description
Experience
Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Physicsor a closely-related field and 5 years of experience in an IC manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on lithography;
strong focus on customerintimacy and ability to manage customer relationships;
ability to organize,initiate, drive, and influence based on inspiration, motivation and expertise;
clear oral and written English language communication skills;
up to 10% domestic and international travel required.

Job Description
- In Malta,NY, ASML seeks Senior Application Engineer to serve as a key expert in creatingtomorrow’s value through new product introductions and ensuring delivery ofapplication and customer specific requirements;
- serve as key interface, overseeing multiple competencies supporting the customer’s node transition from researchinto volume;
- train local organization to ensure on-site engineers provideongoing customer support;
- working with various levels of internal ASML experts,participate in the introduction of next-generation lithography equipment;
- combine leadership with excellent investigative and analytical skills todeliver timely, high-quality solutions;
- run performance improvement projects ina complex environment with significant business impact in cooperation withcustomers and translate the results into improvement specifications for ASML’s development department; contribute knowledge of customer technologyrequirements to new development projects;
- define supplemental and improved waysof working, and lead and drive towards solutions for structural issues;
- identify potential for revenue generation and promote/evaluate ASML solutions;
- drive implementation of the Customer Support Applications Engineering community’s vision, mission and departmental initiatives.
