About the job
- Develop, test, and deploy complex web applications and modules for our website
- Manage software development projects, including planning, tracking and executing software architecture
- Improve usability and performance to scale to a large global deployment
- Constantly improve the quality of code and processes
- Enforce best practices and optimize work flows
- Close cooperation with other departments (e.g. product management)
Who we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent professional education
- Proficiency in programming with PHP5 OOP and MySQL databases in a test-driven environment; solid Javascript experience; solid experience with at least one other framework/language combination
- Track record of several successful projects on Symfony2 in leading roles; experience with stakeholder management; proven ability to get things done
- Proficiency in designing and validating solutions in UML
- Experience with banking integrations and complex calculations
- Experience with mentoring less experienced developers
- Excellent English skills; German is a plus
