Yacht Life Sciences has a vacancy for a (Senior) Research Associate, Lead Generation.
In the role as (Senior) Research Associate in the Lead Generation team, you will participate in the Antibody Discovery process, and you will contribute to one of the key activities within the organization, the generation of antibody panels. You will strengthen the Lead Generation expertise unit, which is part of the Lead Discovery & Technology department. This department is diverse across all expertise areas required for the generation, and further characterization of antibody lead candidates. Your contribution is indispensable for the development of innovative therapeutic antibody-based drugs.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the execution of Antibody Discovery projects, which involve technologies such as Hybridoma Generation and B-cell FACS sorting.
- You ensure efficient handover of data and materials to other teams in the organization.
- You are actively involved in the outsourcing and monitoring of activities taking place at CRO’s.
- You document and report the results in an organized and concise manner.
- You report to a Scientist Lead Generation, who is responsible for oversight of all Antibody Discovery projects.

You take the initiative on projects and can confidently run several projects in parallel at any one time. Additionally, You take pleasure in being part of a dynamic and agile team.
Moreover, you meet the following professional requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or an equivalent discipline (candidates with a PhD background will not be considered for this position)
- Experienced in the field of Antibody Discovery, Hybridoma Generation, FACS analysis, and Protein Chemistry
- Experience with the outsourcing and monitoring of activities taking place at CROs
- Fluency in English
- In possession of a valid work permit
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Direct and full-time employment at our client. Contract for 6 months (maternity leave), however, could be extended to a fixed term position if approved. Salary from 3000 up to 4500 euro gross per month depending on experience.
