Your responsibilities:
- You are working on a high-quality MMO game with state of the art 3d graphics
- Interact with product management, project management, QA and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
- Work closely with the QA team to identify, design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases
- Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
- Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate tools to perform automated testing cycles
- Execute and analysis automation test results.
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using available processes/tools/means
- Support production deployment of the game builds and perform “validation testing”
Your skills:
- You are passionate about gaming
- Relevant work experience in development and/or QA role.
- You have five or more years of experience in professional development
- Good development/scripting skills in common languages like C++, JAVA, PERL, Python, C#, etc
- Database skills, mainly in MySQL Server
- Good experience with different Operating Systems, with emphasis on Unix variants
- Knowledge of automated testing tools, like WinRunner, QTP, Rational Robot, etc is a plus
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse tasks simultaneously
- You are a team player and enjoy working with other departments on shared goals
- You are fluent in technical English
