- Your task will be to design and write software applications for the automation of both data acquisition and data analysis.
- You will design and perform complex data analysis with image processing, processing large amounts of data and fitting them.
- You will give input for measurements procedures and compose high level control software.
- You will work in close cooperation with experimental physicists.
- You will be a member of a team of physicists, SW developers, mechanical/electrical designers and technicians.
- You have a B.Eng. (HTS), B.Sc or M.Sc. (TU) degree in Physics / Electronics / Mathematics or related technical discipline.
- You have (work)experience with programming (e.g. C/C++, Java, Delphi/Pascal, Python, Fortran).
- You have affinity with both structured software development and physics experiments.
- You know how to avoid complexity and you strive after simple and straight-forward designs.
- Experience in performing experiments is an advantage.
- You are a team-player with excellent communication skills.
