Objectives The Software engineer is responsible inside an international project team for the development and maintenance of firmware embedded in the electronic controls modules for laundry products.
Key Operational Responsibilities:
- Firmware requirements elicitation
- Firmware architecture design
- Firmware implementation and debug
- Firmware documentation
- Support the simulation and algorithm development activities
- Work together with the other Technology Module teams
- Regular connection to other Electrolux functions
- Interface the regional Product Development regional teams
Competencies needed
Technical skills:
- Good Knowledge in C language programming for 8/32 bit micro controllers,
- (Freescale – STM are preferred)
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies
- Knowledge of firmware version management systems
- Experience of FW development for consumer application
- Basic electronics hardware knowledge
Preferred career experience: At least 3 years of experience in firmware design Soft competencies:
- Open-minded
- Team oriented
- Good communication skills
- Creative
- Proactive, takes initiatives
- Willing to travel
- Project management
