Job Mission
The ASML Product Change Specialist II secures quality of change implementation planning while minimizing implementation cost and processing time.ASML is a world leader in the manufacture of advanced technology systems for the semiconductor industry. ASML’s corporate headquarters is in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. Manufacturing sites and research and development facilities are located in Connecticut, California and the Netherlands. Job Description
- Prepare Change Requests (CRs) and Notifications (CNs) (today: IPs and ECs) for implementation in Development and Operations.
- Coordinate dependencies across Notifications.
- Compile requests impacting same documents and same effectivity.
- Compile changes in a manner that best achieves end-item traceability and minimizes implementation costs (verify re-identification decisions).
- Facilitate Full Track and Fast Track Changes (today: On-line and Off-Line Changes).
- Prepare agenda and chair the Change Control Board (CCB) meeting.
- Consider workloads prior to releasing Notifications to the CCB for implementation.
- Initiate, monitor and control the implementation of approved CNs.
- Drive execution in close alignment with Project Lead(s) and/or Product Development Manager.
- Monitor – and intervene – in case of master schedule changes and product definition changes impacting (dependent) notifications.
- Contributes to safeguard the CM@ASML policy in daily execution.
- Contribute to the further development of CM@ASML.Scope of Role: One or several projects or product.
- Key Interfaces: D&E and Operational Sectors, Program Management, Change Specialists I & III.
Education
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (including Configuration Management with complex Bills of Material).
Experience
- This role requires a combination of project coordination and specialist skills.
- Experience in operations; ability to support change. Implementation planning across D&E and operations envisioning possible impact downstream (in operations).
- Basic ASML system knowledge.
- Configuration Management certified (CMII) a plus.
- Natural leader, outgoing, easy to be approached.
- Remain persistent until the goal has been reached.
- Take responsibility for the change implementation planning.
- Present and explain subject matter to people with different skills and background.
- Coach colleagues on configuration change management.
- Demonstrate effective, constructive cooperation in x-sector teams.
- Handle conflicts and set priorities effectively, while aware of ASML sub cultures.
- Minimize cost impact wherever possible, showing cost awareness.
