- Responsible for the Store Returns department, oversees all activities and processes within the department
- Responsible for all VAS processes including communication to parties involved
- Communicates Store Returns activities with the Supply Chain department, vendors and other related internal departments EHQ and ESC
- Communicates and planning remedial activities with Supply Chain ESC and Supervisor Receiving
- Coordinates and communicates operational systems PkMS/WCS activities/issues to departments involved like EHQ/IS&T
- Initiates, creates, and maintains Returns/VAS reports for management purposes
- Responsible for the inventory movements and communication to related departments
- Conducts appraisals and mid-year reviews.
- Proposes improvements to increase efficiency
- Supervises the team, ensures tasks are executed in line with the operating and safety procedures and equipment is correctly used
- Manages the departments productivities and identifies opportunities to increase individual and departmental productivity
- Partners and collaborates with all warehouse supervisors to ensure overarching targets and goals of Logistics Operations are achieved
- Responsible for the staffing of the department, including temporary staffing, based on the (daily) volumes and business requirements/needs
- Trains, motivates and develops the team to improve performance and achieve targets, this includes performance management
- Ensures compliances with Health and Safety regulations and other regulations within the Service Center
- Participates in and/or leads projects to achieve process improvements within the department and/or Logistics function
