Modis has a great opportunity for an experienced System Tester for one of our clients located in Hoofddorp. Project duration is 6 months with expectation of extension.

You will be responsible for prestigious project to digitalize a popular cartoon.

The senior System Tester may act in a test lead, specialist technical role or general consulting role with a focus on identifying technical test solutions. These solutions may relate to areas of testing such as system integration, system or non-functional type testing. This can involve reviewing architectures or integration documents, writing custom test harnesses or automated tests through to implementing a load test exercise.
The System Tester will provide expert advice and services in those areas of testing requiring specific technical specialization or knowledge.

Responsibilities:
• Review technical requirements/specifications
• Review system architecture to determine appropriate test points
• Identify appropriate testing required
• Test scheduling
• Provide test advice
• Performance testing
• Load testing
• Automation
• Identify and provide/arrange necessary training to business or test groups
• Ensure adherence to agreed Test Strategy, Plan and project schedules
• Potential writing of custom test solutions (test harnesses, SQL scripts etc.)
• Analyse and report on test results

Functie-eisen

Technical skills required:
• Familiarity with contemporary performance test tools
• Familiarity with contemporary load/stress testing tools
• Familiarity with test automation
• Programming knowledge in a current language
• Some SQL skills/knowledge
• Understanding of systems and architecture (DB's, Servers, Networks etc.)
• Knowledge of XML/HTML or similar markup languages
• Good general IT knowledge

Experience required:
• Tester of web app and website (around 4 years’ of project experience)
• IOS and Andriod - knoledge
• Pre: automation testing / QA engineer

Language required:
• Dutch – fluent
• English – fluent
