European DataWarehouse (ED) is the first central platform in Europe for collecting, validating and making available for download detailed.

European DataWarehouse (ED) is the first central platform in Europe for collecting, validating and making available for download detailed, standardised level data for specific asset-backed securities (ABS) transactions.

ED employs a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure to collect and store loan level data across Europe. With your excellent skill and experience in SQL and other technical data analysis methodologies and your exceptional sense for data quality, you will effectively contribute to assessing and enhancing the quality of ED's data. Being a very hands-on member of the IT team, you will focus equally on both internal tools and ED's customer facing software utilities. Knowledge of high end IT infrastructure / hosting concepts will be an added value for this role, but is not mandatory and can be acquired when performing the role of technical analyst.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and enhancing the quality of ED's data
  • Contribute to building various automated quality checks on ED's data with your outstanding SQL knowledge
  • Build internal and customer facing tools
  • Make accessing and analysing ED's data easy and seamless for both ED and its customers
  • Identify areas of potential developments and clients' needs
  • Prepare documentation for various tools and processes


Skills and Qualification:
  •   Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable education
  •   1+ years of experience in Database Management / Software Development /  Technical Analysis
  •   1+ years of experience in VBA, SQL and database management
  •   Knowledge of MATLAB and one other programming language would be advantageous
  •   Experience in the financial service industry is a bonus
  •   Analytical and innovative - both in thought process and in execution
  •   English to business standard is essential
  •   Enthusiastic and self-starting
  •   Desire to work in a dynamic and  international environment and willingness to learn new business and technology processes and actively contribute to their evolution
