European Distribution Center at Heijen (located between Nijmegan and Venlo). This multi-functional D.C. serves all Foot Locker stores across Europe, the Middle East and Asia as well as Ecommerce. As a Warehouse Operations Coordinator you will play a pivotal role within the Distribution Center by liaising with the management team, department leads and HQ functions such as Planning & Allocation.
This position will offer the opportunity to gain in depth knowledge of all the processes and systems within the fast paced and dynamic supply chain environment at Foot Locker. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keenness to take on challenges using an analytical approach and collaboration to achieve the best outcomes. They will be a natural leader and will enjoy working with a diverse group of colleagues.
This role sits within the Distribution Center's Operations team. It reports to the EMEA Operations Director and leads a team of three. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make an impact and thereby accelerate career progression within Foot Locker Inc.
- Driving positive outcomes for the Distribution Centre's operations; pursuing Operational Excellence
- Owns and drives projects to achieve change and improvements within Operations and the wider Logistics and Supply Chain function
- Partners with all warehouse supervisors as well as the IS&T team to ensure overarching goals around Operational Excellence are achieved
- Leads the central reporting for all operational and financial activities including forecasting volume, analyzing productivity and workforce planning to enable data driven decision making
- Coordinates and oversees all Wave Management activities in the Warehouse Management System (PkMS by Manhattan Associates) and WCS
- Champions the correct use of the T&A system (Kronos) by all operational departments/users
- Partners with the IS&T team to initiate the development of features that support the business
- Coaches the team to improve performance, build expertise and develop their talents & skillsets
